Our dedicated mission team carries
out comprehensive charitable activities to improve the quality
of life for homeless, illiterate, and marginalized people across
India. Recognizing that true ministry extends beyond preaching,
we have established strategic programs for vocational training,
community health improvement, and free education for deserving
groups, particularly those living below the poverty line and in
difficult circumstances.
In times of crisis, especially during heavy monsoon seasons and
natural disasters, we provide essential food supplies including
rice and other essential materials to those in need. We also
distribute clothing, blankets, and other necessities to the poor
and vulnerable. Additionally, we regularly conduct medical camps
in remote villages and underserved areas, bringing healthcare
services directly to those who would otherwise have no access.
As the Scripture reminds us, "But whoso hath this world's
good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his
bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God
in him?" (1 John 3:17). Through these acts of
compassion, we demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways,
opening hearts to receive the eternal Gospel message.
We Serve
While evangelization remains our primary mission, we recognize that serving the whole person requires addressing both spiritual and physical needs. Our missionary services are seamlessly integrated with comprehensive charity programs designed for the wellbeing and upliftment of society. We make every effort to reach everyone, regardless of caste, creed, religion, or language, following Christ's example of unconditional love and service. As Jesus declared, "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in" (Matthew 25:35). Following are the key ministries of compassion that we operate alongside our Gospel proclamation:
- Orphanages and Old Age Homes
- Schools and Hostels
- Vocational Training Centres
- Rehabilitation Centres and Housing Assistance for the Homeless
- Care and Support for the Poor and Sick
- Marriage Support for Economically Disadvantaged Families
- Medical Camps and Health Awareness Programs
- Promotion of Blood and Organ Donation
- Counselling Facilities and Pastoral Care
Schools
Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and we are
committed to providing quality education to children who would
otherwise be denied this fundamental right. We operate Moriya
Public School, a government-recognized institution located in
Attapadi, where 185 students from tribal communities are
currently receiving formal education. For many of these
children, this school represents their only opportunity to
access quality education, as they live in remote areas with
limited educational facilities.
Understanding that education alone is not enough, we provide
comprehensive support to ensure these children can focus on
learning without the burden of basic needs. All students receive
food, clothing, and study materials completely free of cost.
Beyond Attapadi, we extend educational support to poor students
across our various mission fields, providing assistance with
school fees, books, uniforms, and nutritional support. As the
Scripture teaches, "Train up a child in the way he should
go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it"
(Proverbs 22:6). We are deeply grateful to all those who have
extended their hands in support of this vital ministry, enabling
us to invest in the future of these precious children.
Old Age Homes
"Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long
upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee"
(Exodus 20:12). Sadly, in today's world, abandoning elderly
parents has become distressingly common, leaving many senior
citizens without care, shelter, or dignity in their final years.
Recognizing this critical need, our Mission Old Age Home,
located in Odackaly, Ernakulam District, has taken up the sacred
responsibility of providing a loving home and comprehensive care
for these precious elderly individuals.
At our Old Age Home, we provide all essential needs including
nutritious food, comfortable clothing, and comprehensive medical
care. Our dedicated staff ensures that each resident receives
personalized attention and lives with dignity, respect, and
love. We are deeply grateful to the many compassionate hearts
who have come forward to support this ministry, enabling us to
serve these beloved parents who have given so much to their
families and communities. If you have the opportunity to visit,
your presence would be a precious gift, bringing joy and
creating cherished memories for these wonderful individuals who
have so much wisdom and love to share.
Orphanages
"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will
take me up" (Psalm 27:10). In response to this divine
promise, our Mission operates a network of orphanages called
'Grace Bhavan' (House of Grace), providing a safe, loving home
where orphaned and abandoned children can grow, learn, and
thrive. Grace Bhavan for girls is located in Attapady, while
Grace Bhavan for boys is situated in Hulluhalli. Together, these
facilities currently house and care for 75 children.
Additionally, we operate a boys' hostel in Attapady, extending
our reach to serve even more children in need.
At Grace Bhavan, children receive not just shelter, but a true
home environment where they are loved, educated, and nurtured.
They grow up with all their physical, emotional, and spiritual
needs met, experiencing the care and support that every child
deserves. As you send your own children to school each day, we
ask that you also remember these precious children in your
prayers and support, for they too are God's beloved sons and
daughters.
It is our heartfelt prayer that one day, orphanages and old age
homes would no longer be necessary. This is not because we don't
love these children and elderly parents deeply, but because we
recognize that the love of one's own family is irreplaceable. We
long for a day when families will honor their commitments, when
parents will care for their children, and when children will
honor and care for their aging parents. Let us join together in
prayer, asking God to restore family values in our communities
and strengthen the bonds that hold families together, so that
every child may know the love of parents and every elderly
person may be honored and cared for by their own family.
